Is it hard to take care of a house rabbit?

I'm getting a rabbit but i don't know if it will take all my energy by taking care of th rabbit? Is it hard to take care of a house rabbit?
Rabbits are NOT stinky, contrary to what others have said.

A house rabbit is such a wonderful pet, and they can easily be litter trained.

You see, you don't just put bun in a cage and let him/her pee and poo all over. You have a solid bottom cage (large enough for bun to hop around it) and do not put bedding or hay in the entire cage, that gets messy. Get a dish pan or litter box and put the hay or bedding in there. Quite quickly (time depends on bunny) s/he should be using the litter box exclusively for peeing and pooing. Bunny poo does not stink, but the pee isn't that wonderful, but that is cured by cleaning out the litter box.

Rabbits are VERY clean animals, and as long as you empty the litter box, you should not have an issue.

Other care: giving attention, brushing, trimming nails, making sure bunny's teeth are not overgroen, exercise, making sure bunny has lots of fresh water and food -- rabbits must always have food available to them because if they stop eating, their gi tract can seize -- very dangerous for bunny, so keep plenty of food, hay, and water.

Bunnies are wonderful pets :)Is it hard to take care of a house rabbit?
It depends how much your willing to take good care of it. My classroom pet at my school is a rabbit. If you get a house rabbit get a play pen and so it doesn't get lost too much. Also they will make a lot of messes. If you get a rabbit you can't have a dog or a cat or any other animal that could harm it so be careful. Rabbits are good pets. Good luck!
well yes it is very stinky but they are very cute! i liked mine!
Yes, it can get messy and stinky. You have to really clean up after it. But if you are willing to out of love, then go for it.
i had one when i was about 7-10.

they are such a joy, so cute and cuddley.

just a week or about 3-5 day cleaning of the cage..

i'd say wire proof the house because they liked to chew on the wires behind the t.v.

keep an eye on him we lost him under beds and stuff like that lol

get a rabbit you wont regret it..
YES!! I tried it and had everything chewed!! All wires have to be cared for to prevent chewing, wooden chairs/furniture will get chewed and be aware of accidents! it was not fun!

I tried to put dishsoap on items i did not want to get chewed on but still had problems. Potty training was messy, i had to have a litter box in everyroom some had two.
Yes they are time consuming I had a rabbit and every day you have to feed and give fresh waster and the vitamins it needs and change its bedding everyday otherwise the bedding will stink really bad and then at least once a month check its toenails to see if they need trimmed and plus you should bring the rabbit out of its change to get exercise it needs to stretch its legs and hop around but in a place where it cant harm itself.

and there food isn't the cheapest and neither is the bedding

they cant live on veggies alone and you have to watch b/c some veggies are harmful to them
I personally raised rabbits indoors and it is alot easier than wading through snow drifts. If you want an indoor rabbit you can litterpan train them if you get them when they are young and ready to leave their mother.
