Is there any way to stop my female rabbit from scent marking?

My rabbit is around 3 months old and she lives indoors. For the first month she always went back into her cage to pee (we allow her to run around the lounge room when we are home, with easy access to her cage), but lately she has started to pee on our couches. Does anyone have suggestions on how to eliminate this behaviour? Thanks. Is there any way to stop my female rabbit from scent marking?
Rabbits use both the scent gland under their chin and urination to mark their territory. The urination is closely linked to sexual maturity however.

I'm afraid you will probably have to put up with it until she is old enough to be neutered, which should curtail this behaviour. You may wish to deny her access to the sofa until she is neutered. Some vets won't neuter until 6 months, but some will neuter based on weight.

If you suspect it could be more than marking, such as incontinence then please seek veterinary advice. Is there any way to stop my female rabbit from scent marking?
Spaying your rabbit will eliminate the behavior if it is marking behavior and not lack of proper potty training. If it is a potty training issue, see here: http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/litte鈥?/a> The tips found at that link should help.
This isn't scent marking, rabbits' scent glands are under their chins, which is why they go around rubbing everything.

Maybe you should try litter training? Ours live outside, so we haven't trained them, but I believe it is quite easy.

You will not be able to get her speyed until she is at least 6 months old (in boys it is from 3 and a half to 4 months).
