My brother found rabbit and brought it home. I was wondering what we should do with it?

It's looks very young, and is very afrais of all of us. It runs away when we try to pick it up. My lil' brother found it somewhere in the neighborhood and i don't know if we should take it back or keep it?My brother found rabbit and brought it home. I was wondering what we should do with it?
I agree with Michelle H.

Rabbits frequently are SO mistreated, even by people who think they are taking good care of them. Rabbits need to be with other rabbits, they need LOTS of room, they need toys and things to chew on and they need vet care.

Please try to see that this rabbit gets a good home, whether with it's original owner or back in the wild with it's family. And NO, the scent of a human will not make it's mother reject it -- what kind of a mother would do that?

Good luck.My brother found rabbit and brought it home. I was wondering what we should do with it?
If its a wild rabbit i TOTALLY know what to do. Get an eye dropper with a nice groove for the mouth part and get cat milk. Possibly the powder type. Put about 1 spoon of powder and 5 spoons of warm water. Micro wave it for 3 seconds i know its allot of time lol then feed it nicely. Put it in there mouth gently squeeze the milk in the bunny. Make sure you gently place it in their mouths and not noses. Put TONS of grass in where there staying. I put my Bunny's in a tub with a couple drops of water in it with grass so when they pee its in the tub. I have 3 wild Bunny's. Im keeping all three. They run from you for a while but if your keeping them i recommend you should. You can gain its trust. You cant put it back because Bunny's will avoid it and not go near it because of its scent. You should keep it. THERE SO CUTE! temporally
Is it a wild rabbit? If so then let it go somewhere safe. If it is a domestic rabbit then you should put ads and signs up saying you found a rabbit and let the owner take it back. If you don't find the owner and it's not a wild rabbit then you can buy a cage and stick it in.
if it looks like a wild rabbit put it back. but if it isnt a wild bun then but up ads. and i wouldnt take it to a shelter because if nobody takes it it will die. i would rather be fined then kno that i killed a bunny!
DO NOT keep it. put up lost signs around. becuase if it is somebody's rabbit, you could be fined for keeping it. if the posters do not work, bring it to the animal shelter. there, they will be able to locate it's true owner.
Is it a pet rabbit or did your brother find a baby wild rabbit? If you're positive it's a pet rabbit then put up posters and try to find the owner. If it's a wild rabbit put it back in the wild where it belongs.
there's quite a lot you can do with rabbit, but you really should have posted this question in the food section.
