Why is my Rabbit pulling all the fur out from under her paw?

She's not pregnant, and she's not pulling the hair from her neck or anywhere else, so I don't think it's a nervous pregnancy.

It's just the one paw. She doesn't seem to be favoring the other leg, so I don't think it's hurt.

Could she have a splinter or something? I looked, but didn't see anything except for the fact that the underside of her paw has a bald patch now.

Any ideas? Why is my Rabbit pulling all the fur out from under her paw?
Yes, there is probably something irritating her skin and you need to relieve that for her. Start with soaking the foot in a mild boric acid solution (just warm water is fine, too). Then feel around in the fur to see if there is a burr stuck in there. The other thing you can do is carefully cut out the fur that is where the problem is. The fur is very thick in the foot pads and you may not be able to feel what is causing the irritation. Cutting the fur away should take care of the problem.
