Most likely: Yes, as the brain is the generator of almost all behaviors.





However, the animals would be paralyzed, as it is not possible at the current point to reconnect the nerves (from motor cortex to limbs) to actually have movement.





That's probably why no one has done it yet, though.





Once we figure that out, it might be interesting to do.
